  • Publication number: 20070076828
Abstract: Provided is an apparatus for automatic gain control (AGC) widely used in a receiver of a wireless communication system. The receiver of a wireless communication system includes: a step variable gain amplifier and an analog variable gain amplifier disposed in the path of a wireless signal and amplifying the wireless signal; an analog gain control unit for generating a gain control voltage for feedback-controlling an amplification value of the analog variable gain amplifier; a digital gain control unit for receiving the control voltage and generating a digital code determining an amplification value of the step variable gain amplifier. The apparatus for AGC constituted as described above can reduce power consumption and the number of devices by efficiently running an AGC loop in an analog domain, and can be embodied at low cost in a structure appropriately controlling the step gain amplifier and the analog gain amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20060147745
Abstract: A single-side embossed color steel sheet, and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The steel sheet comprises a steel sheet substrate, a zinc or zinc alloy-plated layer, a non-chromate or chromate pretreated layer, a primary coat paint layer of modified epoxy or modified polyester, a color base paint layer, a printed layer, and a top coat clear paint layer. The color base paint layer comprises a polyester resin as a main resin, a melamine resin as a crosslink resin, a crosslink accelerator, other additives, solvent, etc. The printed layer exhibits a feeling of solidity with various feelings of texture and colors. The top coat clear paint layer serves to protect the printed layer from contaminants. The color steel sheet exhibits a remarkably enhanced feeling of solidity at an irregular surface thereof, and has enhanced contaminant resistance properties and environmental friendliness, thereby satisfying requirements for aesthetic design and functionality of products.

  • Publication number: 20050088196
Abstract: A leakage current measurement apparatus for measuring leakage currents is disclosed. The leakage current measurement apparatus automatically selects one of non-inductive shunt resistors of 10?, 100?, and 1000? and measures leakage currents of an outdoor isolation material for an ultra-high voltage. Additionally, the leakage current measurement apparatus is capable of measuring a relatively wide range of leakage currents with a relatively high precision, even at a remote location, as a measurement range is automatically adjusted within measurement ranges preset by a user when leakage currents of an outdoor isolation material change, and being protected against a surge possibly generated by an ultra-high voltage. Also, it can remotely measure in real-time leakage currents of an outdoor isolation material installed at a remote location over Ethernet.
