  • Patent number: 7033051
Abstract: An infrared ray irradiation apparatus for a night vision system which is operated easily and selectively in a visible and infrared ray irradiation mode and an infrared ray irradiation mode, and irradiates infrared rays emitted from a lamp toward an area in front of a car by means of one transmission step (by a tube) and one reflection step (by a reflector), thus irradiating the infrared rays without deterioration in brightness.

  • Patent number: 6954153
Abstract: A map data transmitting server is interconnected with a vehicle terminal through a wireless network. The vehicle terminal determines a range of cells of which cell data are required for navigation based on vehicle state information, and requests the map data transmitting server to transmit the cell data of the cells thereto.

  • Publication number: 20050021228
Abstract: A route searching method in a navigation system for searching a route from a starting point to a destination and calculating a route low in aggregate cost in consideration of cost per section. The method includes designating a preferable transit region and establishing a cost of the preferable transit region. Only an approximate transit region on a map can be designated and the route can be searched and calculated, whereby the user does not need to accurately designate a preferable transit route.

  • Publication number: 20040240221
Abstract: An integrated high-beam/infrared-ray lamp system is provided which comprises a high-beam bulb, an infrared-ray filter, an actuating device, and a lamp control unit. The high-beam bulb is disposed within a lamp housing. The infrared-ray filter is disposed in the housing, and the infrared-ray filter is allowed to rotate between a first position where the infrared-ray filter screens the high beam lamp and a second position where the infrared-ray filter does not screen the high beam lamp. The actuating device rotates the infrared-ray filter. The lamp control unit controls an on/off operation of the high beam bulb and the actuating unit. The actuating device comprises an actuator for actuating the infrared-ray filter and an elastic member connecting the infrared-ray filter and the housing.

  • Publication number: 20040227814
Abstract: Regarding a double exposure scheme that synthesizes first and second images respectively obtained by first and second exposure periods for obtaining a final image outside of a vehicle, at least one adjusting parameter is calculated and thereby at least one of the first and second exposure periods is adjusted on the basis of the adjusting parameter.
