    Abstract: A software-defined network (SDN) controller and a multipath routing method thereof are provided. In the method, a maximum bottleneck bandwidth (MBB) and a minimum hop count (MHC) of each of the nodes in the SDN are initiated. Next, a source node is visited, and neighboring nodes thereof are discovered to relax paths between the source node and each neighboring node. Then, a forwarding node having a maximum MBB among other nodes is visited, and its neighboring nodes which are connected therewith and unvisited are discovered to relax the paths between the forwarding node and each neighboring node. Afterwards, the rest of the nodes are consecutively visited until all nodes are visited. Finally, a disjoint path lookup table is established according to relation between the paths recorded for each node, and accordingly k disjoint paths having the maximum bottleneck bandwidth are found for transmitting k sub-flows divided from a data flow.

    Abstract: A method and a system for calculating a work done by pedaling and a smart pedal are provided. The method is adapted for a calculation apparatus to calculate a work done by a user pedaling a bicycle apparatus including a smart pedal disposed at an end of a crank arm opposite to a chainring and an orientation sensor for detecting a rotation angle of the crank arm. In the method, a pedaling force applied by the user to the smart pedal is detected by using a pressure sensor; meanwhile, the rotation angle of the crank arm when the user pedals the smart pedal is detected by using the orientation sensor. The work done by the user on the smart pedal is calculated based on the pedaling force and the rotation angle of the crank arm detected at each time point within a time period that the user applies the force.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a double-layer PCB of a low power wireless sensing system and a manufacturing method thereof.     Abstract: A low power wireless sensing system includes: a sensing device senses a peripheral environment to generate sensing data; a transmission device, coupled to the sensing device, is connected to an external network through a communication protocol to establish a wireless sensing network; a storage device stores the sensing data or first firmware; and a microprocessing device generates a control signal to control operations of the sensing device, transmission device and storage device according to the sensing data or a RF signal of the external network. The microprocessing device determines to read the first firmware according to the RF signal, so that second firmware built in the microprocessing device is updated and the control signal is adjusted correspondingly. The microprocessing device makes the transmission device enter a sleep state or perform reconnecting according to the RF signal.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an embedded anti-thief system and a method thereof for executing anti-thief procedures, the embedded anti-thief system comprises: a core firmware module, an embedded system module and a cloud server module, wherein the core firmware module is disposed in a firmware device of a portable computer and capable of automatically inspecting the security status of the portable computer when the portable computer is booted. The embedded system module is disposed on a hard disk device of the portable computer and able to communicate with the core firmware module and the cloud server module, so as to confirm the security status of the portable computer. Through the method, the core firmware module and the embedded system module can be loaded and effectively cooperate with the cloud server module for executing the anti-theft procedures for the portable computer at any time.
