Abstract: A mounting unit for a sub-frame of a vehicle is provided. The mounting unit is used for engaging a front side member with the vehicle's sub-frame. The mounting unit includes a welding seat that is formed as a groove on a lower side of the front side member. The mounting unit further includes a mounting nut assembled with the front side member, a welding flange integrated with an external circumference and a head of the mounting nut and inserted into the welding seat to be combined with the welding seat, and a member seat that is formed outside the welding flange and with which a fender upper connecting member is combined.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for multi-step filtering a candidate object which is filtered by a minimum bounding rectangle (MBR); and, more particulary, to a method of multi-step filtering a candidate object by employing a minimum maximum point (MMP) filter to improve spatial query filtering process performance by refiltering the candidate objects, which are filtered by using a rotated minimum bounding rectangle (Rotated Minimum Bounding Rectangle) surrounding spatial objects during filtering process at a step of spatial query filtering and refining of spatial database, by using spatial filter, i.e., MMP filter.

Abstract: In an automatic mapping system, a plurality of names are placed on a map in association with a plurality of corresponding point-features with minimized overlapping among the names. First a minimum bounding rectangle (MBR) is placed on a predetermined position of a target point located on a predetermined direction-uppermost position from point-features, where the MBR is selected for representing a name corresponding to the target point. Next, it is determined whether the MBR is overlapped with at least one of previously assigned MBRs and if the MBR is not overlapped with any of the previously assigned MBRs, the current position of the MBR is determined and the name is placed on the MBR.
