  • Patent number: 11563357
Abstract: A connection device for connecting a cable assembly with a plurality of cables to a printed circuit board of motor electronics arranged in a motor mounting of an electric motor, having a contact adapter with a number of current rails corresponding to the cables and with an injection molded housing, in which the current rails are embedded together in an injection molded manner, wherein the current rails protruding from the injection molded housing have first connection contacts for contacting the printed circuit board and second connection contacts for contacting the cable ends of the cables, and a connection housing having a first housing part and a second housing part that surrounds the second connecting contacts contacting the cable ends and that is joined to the injection molded housing of the contact adapter.

  • Patent number: 11539265
Abstract: An electric motor including a rotor rotatably mounted about a rotational axis extending in the axial direction, and a stator including stator teeth widened in a T shape at the tooth-base side to form pole tabs and extending in the circumferential direction. The pole tabs may form a bearing shoulder. A respective stator slot for receiving coils of a stator winding is formed between adjacent stator teeth and a slot opening formed between mutually facing pole tabs. A reinforcing element may be inserted into a slot opening. The reinforcing element are held on mutually facing pole tabs of adjacent stator teeth by the bearing shoulders. The reinforcing element includes a contour that engages a bearing region to reduce a contact area with the bearing shoulders.

  • Patent number: 11133723
Abstract: An electric motor including a rotor configured to rotate about a rotational axis and a stator extending along the rotational axis. The stator may include a stator yoke, a first tooth, and a second tooth, each provided with a shaft extending away from the stator yolk towards the rotational axis to a base. Adjacent sides of the of the first tooth and the base of the second tooth may form a groove slot. A reinforcement element may be inserted into the groove slot.

  • Patent number: 10027203
Abstract: An electric motor for driving a motor vehicle component, in particular a fan impeller for cooling cooling water, having an electronics unit that includes a lead frame around which injection-molded plastic is provided and which has a current path conducting the motor current, and having two spaced-apart current path ends that form an interruption point bridged by a thermal fuse in the form of a spring-biased contact bridge. The contact bridge is mounted so as to be pivotable about an axis of rotation extending perpendicular to the plane of the interruption point. An abutment contour, against which the contact bridge pivots as a result of the restoring force of a spring element when the thermal fuse is triggered, limits the pivoting range of the contact bridge.
