Abstract: Technologies and techniques for communication between a plurality of vehicles enable intuitive communication without distracting the driver. The method involves receiving a message from a second vehicle by a first vehicle, where the message includes content and information regarding the second vehicle. The representation of the second vehicle is presented in a contact analog presentation within a display region of a display unit in the first vehicle, based on the received information regarding the second vehicle. The message content is then presented with reference to the representation of the second vehicle in the contact analog presentation. The system may utilize an on-board computer or a similar display unit for the presentation.

Abstract: Technologies and techniques for assigning anonymized status information recorded by vehicles in a V2X network to respective vehicles when an irregular event such as an accident occurs. An anonymized assignment takes place by comparing the status information with vehicle information relating to vehicles involved in an irregular event. Therefore, despite the status information being in an anonymized form, when an irregular event occurs, the information is assigned to the individual vehicles and the event, in particular the accident, is thus reconstructed.

The method includes identifying a restricted passage geometry from at least one detected sensor value relating to the vehicle surroundings; taking the sensor value as a basis for determining an extent of the restricted passage geometry and a position of the restricted passage geometry; transmitting a message to at least one further transportation vehicle, a server and/or a roadside unit; and generating the message based on the determined extent and position of the restricted passage geometry. A further method of a transportation vehicle for vehicle control in traffic situations with restricted passage geometry includes receiving the message and generating a report and output, which report is based on a comparison of the extent of the restricted passage geometry with dimensions of the transportation vehicle. Also disclosed is a transportation vehicle to carry out the methods.
