  • Patent number: 7066094
Abstract: A supporting framework for a craneway for at least one crane which travels on at least one track, especially for a bridge crane which travels on two tracks, includes a track carrier elongated in a track direction and having at least one carrier section of reinforced concrete, preferably of prestressed concrete. A system of pillars includes reinforced concrete pillars, whose upper ends in each case support the carrier sections via a top component and whose lower ends are in each case anchored in the soil via a base component. An adjustable bearing in the area of the top component and/or of the base component in at least some of the pillars allows adjusting the track carrier according to the desired course of the track.

  • Patent number: 6564955
Abstract: A mobile harbor crane for the combined handling of containers and bulk materials, having an undercarriage and an upper carriage which is mounted rotatably on the base frame of the undercarriage and on which a tower with a boom that can be pivoted about a horizontal axis is arranged. Four support beams are connected pivotally to a base frame of the undercarriage, symmetrically to the longitudinal and transverse axes of the vehicle, in such a way that they can each be pivoted about vertical axes, they are provided at their free ends with vertically acting leveling cylinders, by means of which the support beams are supported on the wheels of a plurality of traveling gear assemblies via balancers for uniform distribution of the supporting forces.

  • Patent number: 6435361
Abstract: The invention relates to a lifting device for increasing the performance of a handling apparatus for ISO containers, in particular for increasing the performance of a container bridge in a terminal having automated inward and outward transport of the containers by means of self-propelled transport vehicles, and having at least one container load-lifting means in the form of a spreader and devices for the intermediate positioning of the containers within the handling apparatus for the purpose of fitting or removing the twist locks, and platforms for the personnel occupied in doing this.

  • Publication number: 20010052439
Abstract: A braking device for limiting the travel of an overhead crane traveling over rails temporarily increases its traveling resistance until it stops. The braking device includes at least one brake shoe which is mounted on the overhead crane and can be pressed against the rails with a force up to a level equivalent to the weight of the overhead crane. The brake shoe can be forcibly caused to move from a resting position a certain distance away from the rail into a braking position, in which the side of the brake shoe or shoes facing the rail can be pressed against the rail.

  • Publication number: 20010020558
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic steering device for the chassis of a vehicle, in particular of a crane or transport vehicle, with chassis axles steerable between longitudinal and transverse drive positions and in each case fixed to a shaft on the vehicle that is pivoted about a vertical swiveling axle, on which shaft a steering cylinder acts by way of at least one laterally projecting control arm for swiveling of the shaft. The steering cylinder acting on the projecting control arm and a further steering cylinder acting on a vehicle frame beam are articulated to a lever arm, coaxially pivoted on the shaft, in such a way that the torsional movement of the shaft resulting from the retracting and extending movement of the two steering cylinders adds up to at least ±90°.

  • Patent number: 5662059
Abstract: A device for covering a ship's hatch by a loading chute which can be placed on the edge of the hatch during loading and unloading of a pallet container which is attached to a load suspension apparatus. The loading chute can be automatically opened and closed as a function of the position of the pallet container. The upper opening of the chute can be covered, when the rain-protected pallet container is in the loading shaft or below it, by an umbrella-like shield which is arranged on the load suspension apparatus above the pallet container. A rolling gate in one end position closes the loading opening and after covering of the upper opening of the loading chute by the shield, can be moved into another end position which flees the loading opening. The opening and closing movements of the rolling gate are controlled by contact-less transmitters which detect the position of the pallet container in the chute.
