  • Patent number: 11565681
Abstract: A method for testing a pressure-medium-operated electronic brake system of a vehicle having a valve and sensor device including a control pressure inlet, a control pressure outlet, a plurality of valves selected from electrically activated inlet valves, outlet valves, redundancy valves, and pressure valves, an actual pressure sensor for measuring an actual control pressure, a setpoint pressure sensor for measuring a setpoint control pressure, and an electronic control unit, which has a signal-conducting connection to the electrically activated valves and pressure sensors, for receiving pressure signals and actuating the electrically activated valves, includes testing the setpoint pressure sensor while the control unit is in a passive operating mode, passing the setpoint control pressure directly through to the control pressure outlet, measuring the actual pressure at the control pressure outlet using a sensor, and transmitting the measured value to the control unit for plausibility checking against the setpoi

  • Patent number: 10053079
Abstract: To effect redundant signal processing of a safety-relevant application, such as for a safety control unit of a motor vehicle, at least two redundant signals are fed from at least one sensor to an electronic circuit assembly as input signals for processing. At least one input signal is converted into a different test signal. In the electronic circuit assembly, the input signals are fed to a first peripheral module of a microcontroller, and the test signal is fed to an additional peripheral module. The sensor information of the input signals and of the test signal are thus redundantly processed independently of each other in a respective peripheral module of the microcontroller.

  • Publication number: 20160144844
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the redundant signal processing of a safety-relevant application, in particular of a safety control unit of a motor vehicle, wherein at least two redundant signals are fed from at least one sensor (4) to an electronic circuit assembly (2) as input signals (6) for processing of the sensor information. At least one input signal (6) is converted into a different test signal (16). In the electronic circuit assembly (2), the one or more input signals (6) are fed to a first peripheral module (12) of a microcontroller (10), and the test signal (16) is fed to an additional peripheral module (18) of the microcontroller (10). The sensor information of the input signals (6) and of the test signal (16) are thus redundantly processed independently of each other in a respective peripheral module (12, 18) of the microcontroller (10).
