Furthermore, the application relates to software and an apparatus for inspecting a transport unit and/or cargo. In a method according to an embodiment for inspecting cargo during handling, loading or unloading, the cargo is inspected when cargo units are being handled, loaded into a transport unit or unloaded from a transport unit. The cargo is inspected with aid of image data produced on the cargo and the transport unit. The cargo is inspected with aid of vibration data produced on the cargo and the transport unit. The image data and vibration data are analyzed, and on the basis of the analysis, real-time information and feedback is produced.
