  • Patent number: 9867058
Abstract: There is provided shared use of licensed frequency spectrum in a mobile communications network, while maintaining confidentiality between the license holder and the licensee. Geographical information on availability of licensed frequency spectrum for shared use is obtained. A site map of a mobile communications network is obtained. The site map includes locations of sites, where wireless access to the mobile communications network is provided. A configuration of frequencies for the sites on the basis of the available licensed frequencies for shared use at each location of the sites is determined.

  • Publication number: 20120079084
Abstract: A method of providing connectivity settings to a terminal device includes the steps of: (i) detecting an indication about the terminal device being at a detected location other than an expected home location for the terminal device; and (ii) sending connectivity settings to the terminal device which are appropriate to the detected location. In one variant of the invention, detection occurs as a result of a travel plan notification that the terminal device is planned to be away from the home location. In another variant, detection occurs by determining that the terminal device is, in fact, away from the home location.
