Abstract: A system for uploading content includes a sender capable of sending an upload request, where the upload request comprises a request to upload content from the sender to a recipient. The system also includes a network entity, such as the recipient, capable of operating an upload agent. The upload agent, in turn, is capable of receiving the upload request, and thereafter determining an upload schedule relating to the time and/or manner of uploading the content. The sender can then be capable of uploading the content to the recipient in accordance with the upload schedule. The network entity can be further capable of recovering an upload session that has encountered an interruption.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods for facilitating authentication and logons for network devices. An identifier that is already affiliated with a device is used as a username in an authentication process. A password and an authentication key are generated based on at least the username, and the password and authentication key are provided to the device. Upon attempted access to a network service by the device, the username, password and authentication key are exchanged in some manner to determine the authenticity of the device.

A first device, such as a mobile device, is associated with a network-addressable document(s). The network-addressable document(s) are provided to a second device, such as a computing device. Recognition of user identification a content item(s) is identified by way of the network-addressable document(s) presented via the second device. A transfer is initiated of the identified content item(s) to the first device that is associated with the at least one network-addressable document.
