  • Publication number: 20260004940
Abstract: The invention reduces the energy level of fast-ignation lasers required for whispering gallery mode magnetic inertial fusion to the millijoule level by applying dual-wavelength laser irradiation to the central plate of a cryogenic deuterium target, which is typically a cubic target. In the center of the cubic target located in a biased magnetic field, there is a nanometer hole for generating a new magnetic field. The target also contains lithium nanoparticles that enhance energy deposition and produce tritium through lithium-neutron reactions, further improving the overall efficiency of the fusion process.

  • Publication number: 20250215841
Abstract: The invention is a whisper gallery mode pulsed magneto-inertial fusion solution, that enables the construction of small-size, typically 2 mm diameter, magnetless fusion reactors, fusion power plants and fusion rocket engines. The invention uses magnetic fields excited by whispering gallery mode radiation and secondary radiations excited by whispering gallery mode radiation to control the flow of fusion fuel, plasma compression, focusing of fast ignition wakefield radiation, synchronized formation of fusion fuel droplets, formation of magnetic valves, and formation of magnetic nozzles. The invention can be used in two ways: if the burning and expanding fusion fuel is sent into outer space, it generates thrust for rockets, if it is sent to a heat exchanger, then electricity is produced by interposing a steam turbine in power plants.

  • Publication number: 20250079026
Abstract: In order to achieve higher fusion efficiency, the invention separates the process of fusion plasma compression and fusion ignition into two. Plasma compression is performed with whispering gallery mode radiation, typically laser radiation. The ignition of hot spots created by compression is performed by the solution according to the invention by direct irradiation, typically by direct proton radiation. One of the advantages of separating compression and rapid ignition is that less energy consumption is sufficient to create fusion than with other solutions, moreover, smaller energy shocks do not break the hydrodynamic stability of the plasma, so the fusion is more efficient.

  • Publication number: 20240347219
Abstract: The ultra-intense laser pulses circulating in the whispering gallery mode create periodically repeating inertial nuclear fusion in the center of the reactor space. The symmetry of the whispering gallery mode allows the plasma to stable shrink steadily. Another advantage of the whispering gallery mode is that, due to the angle of incidence-total reflection below ten degrees, higher intensity laser beams, X-rays, gamma rays, or even alpha, beta, neutron radiation can be used to compress the fusion material, since these radiations are also reflected whispering gallery operating mode from the inner mirror surface of the arc of the reactor space.

  • Publication number: 20170108181
Abstract: The invention relates to a lighting device (1) for generating white light which has at least one strip of three light diodes (LEDs) (2) in a linear arrangement, wherein: a) each LED strip (2) has two outer LEDs (3) and one center LED (4); b) each of the two outer LEDs (3) and the center LED (4) are phosphor-converted white LEDs; and c) the distance of each of the color coordinates of the two outer LEDs to the color coordinates of the mixed light of the two outer LEDs and the center LED is smaller than the distance of the color coordinate of the center LED to the color coordinates of the mixed light of the two outer LEDs.

  • Patent number: 9328900
Abstract: The invention relates to a packaged LED module (1) comprising a module (2) having at least one LED (3) arranged thereon, and a one-piece package (10, 100) having a receptacle for the module (2), a substantially optically transmissive region (11, 11a, 11b, 11c), which makes it possible to emit light from the LED (3) towards the outside, an opening (16) and potting blocking means (17). The package (10, 100) is embodied in such a way that a potting component is introduced via the opening (16) into the package (10, 100) equipped with the module (2). The introduced potting component forms a potting body (30), which completely fills the package (10, 100), excluding a region between the LED (3) and the substantially optically transmissive region (11, 11a, 11b, 11c) on account of the potting blocking means (17), and which connects the package (10, 100), the module (2) and connecting cables (20) that can be connected to the module (2) in an externally sealing manner.
