Patent number: 11846338Abstract: A damping arrangement (1) for damping radial vibrations in a rotating shaft (2), the damping arrangement (1) comprising at least one first damping element (3), at least one second damping element (4), and a bearing arrangement (5) operably engaging the first damping element (3) and the second damping element (4). The bearing arrangement (5) comprises a first bearing member (6), a second bearing member (7), and a reference (8). The first bearing member (6) is rotatably mounted on the shaft (2) so that radial movement of the shaft (2) is transferred to the first bearing member (6), and is operably connected to the second bearing member (7) by the first damping element (3) and by a first steering structure (9). The first steering structure (9) allows only reciprocating movement of the first bearing member (6), and the shaft (2), in a first radial direction (D1), and the first damping element (3) dampens the reciprocating movement in the first radial direction (D1) with respect to the second bearing member (7).Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 2021Date of Patent: December 19, 2023Assignee: Component 2.0 A/SInventors: Asger Meng Larsen, Janus Juul Rasmussen

Publication number: 20230008934Abstract: A self-aligning bearing support assembly for supporting a radial load rotary or linear bearing. The bearing support assembly has a main axis (A) and includes an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve at least partially received in the outer sleeve. The inner sleeve has an axially extending bore for supporting a rotary or linear bearing or for forming a bearing surface of a bearing. Three or more circumferentially separated chambers are formed between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve. Each chamber is confined in all directions by walls of the assembly. A lump of a substantially incompressible material fills each of the at least three chambers with the chamber concerned substantially completely enclosing the lump.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2020Publication date: January 12, 2023Applicant: Component 2.0 A/SInventors: Janus Juul Rasmussen, Alexander Meyhoff Crone

Patent number: 11333186Abstract: A dowel pin (1) according to a first aspect with a cylindrical body (4). The cylindrical body (4) is divided into first and second parts (2,3). The first part (2) is movably connected to the second part (3) allowing only relative transverse movement between the first and second parts (2,3). According to a second aspect, the dowel pin (1) comprises a cylindrical circumferential surface (5) and first and second longitudinal ends. The circumferential surface (5) comprises a first plurality of primary radially lifted contact areas (33) at a first distance D1 from the first longitudinal end and a second distance D2 from the second longitudinal end, with D1 being less than D2, and a second plurality of secondary lifted contact areas (35,36) at a third distance D3 from the first longitudinal end and a fourth distance D4 from the second longitudinal end, D3 being larger than D4.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2020Date of Patent: May 17, 2022Assignee: Component 2.0 A/SInventor: Janus Juul Rasmussen

Publication number: 20210331084Abstract: A toy-building element for a toy-building system in which toy-building elements can be releasably coupled to one another using an interference fit between coupling studs of one toy-building element inserted in matching openings in another toy-building element. The toy-building element includes a body part with a top face, a bottom face and one or more flat sidewalls that extend around an outer periphery of the toy-building element, the one or more flat sidewalls at least partially define the interior of the toy-building element and the flat sidewalls extend between the top face and the bottom face with the sidewalls being connected to one another at right angles to form sharp corners, at least one cylindrical coupling stud extending at a given height from the top face, and at least one tubular projection extending inside the interior to the bottom face for forming at least one opening in the bottom face in which a coupling stud fits with the interference fit.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 21, 2017Publication date: October 28, 2021Inventors: Janus Juul Rasmussen, Asmus Faering Asmussen

Patent number: 8371113Abstract: The present invention provides a mixing device (1) for mixing urea with a gas, said urea being preferably dissolved in a fluid preferably water and said gas being preferably air. The mixing device comprises preferably a urea inlet (10) and a gas inlet (12) for feeding respectively urea and the gas into a mixing chamber (20) of the mixing device (4), and an outlet (14) for outlet of the mix of urea and gas from the mixing chamber (20), these inlets (10,12) and outlet (14) may preferably have a stream wise extension and runs preferably into the mixing chamber (20) and the outlet (14) originates preferably from the mixing chamber (20). Preferably, at least the gas inlet (12) for feeding air into the mixing chamber is designed so that depositing of urea crystals on selected surfaces of the said inlet is substantially (typically in the sense that deposited crystals does not clog the inlet) or totally avoided.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 2006Date of Patent: February 12, 2013Assignee: Grundfos NoNox A/SInventors: Hans Henrik Jochumsen, Steen Kahler, Karim Lindberg, Martin Ebro Christensen, Niels Stubager Kiemer, Niels Torp Madsen, Janus Juul Rasmussen, Tom Johansen

Testing device for testing or analysing fluids and a holder and a storage container for such devices
Patent number: 8216524Abstract: A testing device for testing or analysing fluids comprises a separately produced holder (10) and a sheet-or plate-like test member (11) including analysis reagent. The holder defines an abutment surface (13) for engaging with a side surface of the test member. Projections (15) formed on the holder are positioned and shaped so as to allow insertion of the test member into the holder by moving the test member into engagement with said abutment surface while engaging with opposite edge portions thereof. The projections may, for example, be tooth-shaped and have pointed ends, and at least some of the projections may have a leading edge (16) forming a ramp sloping towards a plane defined by the abutment surface so as to facilitate insertion of the test member into the holder. A stack of such testing devices may be arranged within a cassette from which they may be fed successively into an automatic analyser. The holder of the testing device may be re-used.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2007Date of Patent: July 10, 2012Assignee: Lattec I/SInventors: Hans Henrik Jochumsen, Niels Stubager Frederiksen, Janus Juul Rasmussen, Thomas Nikolai Carlsen -
Publication number: 20110126650Abstract: An actuator includes a plurality of chain links that can be wound up to transform a chain of the links into a stable elongated rod protruding from the actuator and can be unwound to transform the elongated rod into a chain that is received in a chain magazine. The actuator is particularly compact and flat and can be placed in the relatively narrow spaces.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 8, 2008Publication date: June 2, 2011Applicant: KATAKA A/SInventors: Jens Jorren Sorensen, Janus Juul Rasmussen
