  • Publication number: 20230306341
Abstract: A method to measure a cognitive load based upon ocular information of a subject includes the steps of: providing a video camera configured to record a close-up view of at least one eye of the subject; providing a computing device electronically connected to the video camera and the electronic display; recording, via the video camera, the ocular information of the at least one eye of the subject; processing, via the computing device, the ocular information to identify changes in ocular signals of the subject through the use of convolutional neural networks; evaluating, via the computing device, the changes in ocular signals from the convolutional neural networks by a machine learning algorithm; determining, via the machine learning algorithm, the cognitive load for the subject; and displaying, to the subject and/or to a supervisor, the cognitive load for the subject.

  • Patent number: 11770707
Abstract: A system comprises an interface and a processor. The interface is configured to provide a request to join a publish group from a client or a point to point communication link of a lattice mesh; and receive a group key or a host public key. The processor is configured to determine whether a message has been received; in response to the message having been received, determine whether the message is to be sent on; in response to the message being determined not to be sent on, decode the message using the group key or the host public key; determine whether to store the message in a backfill database; in response to determining to store the message in the backfill database, store the message in the backfill database.

  • Publication number: 20230222170
Abstract: Forward-looking sales activities are poorly served by existing Customer Relationship Managements systems, as the customer information those systems maintain by definition does not include the speculatively interested “leads” pursued in initial sales contacts. An Enrichment database, asynchronously loaded with corporate and optionally individual contact information in anticipation of use, provides real-time access to information in support of such first customer contacts. The Enrichment information may also be used to expedite creation and revision of CRM records.

  • Publication number: 20230013569
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure render a context menu upon receiving a context menu indication from a user. The context menu comprises a combination of local context menu items and remote context menu items that are selected based on the context received with the context menu indication. The context menu is created by identifying a set of local and remote context menu item providers and receiving both a rank and HTML based on the received context. The set of local and remote context menu items are ranked according to their respective rank and a number of ranked context menu items are selected. The HTML for the selected context menu items are combined and the combined HTML is rendered to yield the context menu. The context menu is presented to the user.

  • Publication number: 20210365521
Abstract: In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems and methods are described that relate to providing, in a browser environment, a sidebar search capability to users. Once in a primary content page, the user is able to select text for searching. In response, the system provides a context menu or keyboard shortcut that includes an option for conducting a sidebar search. In response to user selection, the system passes highlighted or selected text as a parameter to the search engine. The results are provided in an area alongside the currently displayed content page, such as in a sidebar search pane. The user is able to experience search results without leaving the context of their current search tab.

  • Patent number: 11027449
Abstract: Particular embodiments of the inventive technology relate to apparatus and methods for cutting multi-layered material to reconfigure it so it may be used to construct sub-compartments in a larger storage container. The inventive technology, in particular embodiments may feature one or more of the following: dual blades, “staggered” blades (where one blade is more forward than another), a blade(s) angled upwards and forwards, blades separated in a left-right direction, prong recesses to accept trailing tips of blades, a rearwardly angled handle and/or a removed material ejection ramp, in conjunction perhaps with other features such as, e.g., a guide prong. One or more of such features may appear in the various manifestations of a defluting cutter or through cutting apparatus, whether guided or unguided, and/or manual or powered.

  • Patent number: 10749767
Abstract: A routing system is described herein for intelligently routing actions directed to any one of a collection of user devices that are associated with a user. In operation, the routing system receives a request from a source entity to perform an action. The routing system determines a mode of carrying out the action that involves use of one or more user devices, selected from the collection of user devices. It then instructs the selected user device(s) to carry out the action. In this manner of operation, requests that are directed to an individual user device are no longer necessarily carried out by that individual user device. The routing system chooses the user device(s) to carry out the action based on current context information together with relationship information extracted from a user graph.
