Publication number: 20240375030Abstract: A filter purge and maintenance control system monitors a fluid circulation line passing fluid through a filter. The system includes a vacuum switch manifold having a first vacuum switch sensing a first calibrated vacuum threshold, and a second vacuum switch sensing a second calibrated vacuum threshold in the fluid circulation line. The first vacuum switch provides a first calibrated vacuum threshold signal. The second vacuum switch provides a second calibrated vacuum threshold signal. A purge switch is actuated to purge a fluid from a filter housing, and a reset switch is actuated to reset the control system to a filtering operation. A first indicator is connected to the first vacuum switch for receiving the first calibrated vacuum threshold signal and illuminating the first threshold indicator. A second indicator is connected to the second vacuum switch for receiving the second calibrated vacuum threshold signal and illuminating the second threshold indicator.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2024Publication date: November 14, 2024Applicant: Pitco Frialator, Inc.Inventors: Jared C. Perkins, Matthew Conti, Steven J. Cyr

Patent number: 11992156Abstract: A system for automating the removal of cooking racks or trays laden with food items. The automatic rack lifting system includes a fryer assembly having a frypot and a liftable traveler assembly with a removable rack carrier or cooking carriage that carries a plurality of removable cooking baskets for food into and out of the cooking medium or oil disposed within the frypot. The system may further include lift arms removably secured to an actuation support structure. The automatic rack lifting system comprises a lift system for automated (e.g. under software program control) or manually controlled automatic lifting of a cooking carriage.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2019Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: PITCO FRIALATOR, INC.Inventors: Jared C. Perkins, Steven Savage, Karl M. Searl

Publication number: 20220087476Abstract: A tank closure assembly for a deep fryer is provided. The tank closure assembly includes a motor driver actuator that is adapted to actuate the tank closure assembly between an open position and a closed position and a plurality of pistons coupled to the motor. In addition, lift arms are removably coupled to respective pistons from the plurality of pistons. An actuation support structure having at least one actuation track is adapted to allow the lift arms to move along the actuation support structure during actuation of the tank closure assembly. Further, a fryer lid is removably coupled to a bottom portion of the lift arms and a cooking carriage is removably coupled to a bottom portion of the fryer lid.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 27, 2020Publication date: March 24, 2022Applicant: PITCO FRIALATOR, INC.Inventors: Jared C. Perkins, Karl M. Searl

Patent number: 10436730Abstract: A system for measuring the state of degradation of cooking oil in a deep fryer is provided. The system includes a loop of piping fluidly connected to a fryer for selectively allowing flow of oil from the fryer and into the loop and for returning to the fryer. A pump urges the flow of cooking oil through the loop of piping and selectively to urge oil to return to the at least one fryer pot. The loop further comprises a return portion that extends from a discharge of the pump toward a suction of the pump. A sensor is disposed in the return portion of the loop and adapted to measure an electrical property that is indicative of total polar materials of said cooking oil. A vent line is provided in the return portion of the loop.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2016Date of Patent: October 8, 2019Assignee: Pitco Frialator, Inc.Inventors: Nathaniel A. Lambert, Michael T. Fecteau, Jason D. Finnie, Jared C. Perkins
