    Abstract: An electrical connector is provided for terminating an electrical cable having an insulated conductor surrounded by a ground shield. The electrical connector includes a housing, an electrical contact held by the housing, an inner ferrule configured to extend between the ground shield and the insulated conductor of the electrical cable, and an outer ferrule extending around the inner ferrule such that the ground shield of the electrical cable extends between the inner and outer ferrules when the electrical connector terminates the electrical cable. A rear cover is connected to the housing. The rear cover extends around and compresses the outer ferrule such that the ground shield of the electrical cable is captured between the inner and outer ferrules when the electrical connector terminates the electrical cable.

    Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes a housing having a base and contact towers extending forward from the base. The base has an outer perimeter defined between a front and a rear of the base, and the base has a latch extending forward from the base generally parallel to and spaced apart from the towers such that a gap is defined between a bottom of the latch and a top of the towers. Flanges extend upward from the top of the towers and at least partially block the gap. Contacts are held by the housing, where the contacts extend into the contact towers for mating with mating contacts of a mating connector.

    Abstract: A connector assembly for use with a compressible gasket includes a housing having a mating end and a cable end, the housing being configured to hold a contact. The connector assembly also includes a deflectable shroud extending from the housing rearward of the cable end to the compressible gasket. The shroud surrounds a hollow chamber that is configured to receive the compressible gasket. The shroud is deflectable between an expanded state and a collapsed state, wherein a volume of the hollow chamber is reduced when in the collapsed state as compared to the expanded state. The shroud compresses the gasket when in the collapsed state.

    Abstract: An electrical connector provides electrical power to an antenna from an electrical power cable. The electrical connector includes a housing, and an electrical contact held by the housing. The electrical contact includes a mating segment and a mounting segment. The mating segment is configured to mate with a mating connector that terminates the electrical power cable. The mounting segment is configured to be electrically connected to the antenna. The electrical connector also includes a mounting flange having an opening therein. The housing is held within the opening of the mounting flange such that at least portion of the mounting flange extends outwardly from a periphery of the housing. The mounting flange includes at least one mounting component that is configured to secure the mounting flange to the antenna. The mounting flange is electrically conductive and is configured to be electrically connected to a ground shield of the electrical power cable.

The sleeve wall is sized to engage a crimping tool and the contact wall is configured to grip a conductor within the conductor-receiving passage when the sleeve and contact walls are deformed by the crimping tool.
