The first position of the ratchet member is safely maintained via a locking rod. The selected position for the post member is maintained irrespective of the weight of an object disposed upon a saddle of the post, until the object is removed and the locking rod is removed.

Abstract: An attachment strap created from an elastic strap capable of being stretched. The elastic strap is a continuous substrate forming a base of the attachment strap. A plurality of fastener sections attached to said strap, such that the fastener sections are spaced along the lengthwise direction of said strap and cross substantially the entire width of said strap. The fastener sections cross the width of the elastic strap at angles to the width of said strap. Also discussed is a method of manufacturing a flexible attachment strap which results in forming an elastic strap capable of being stretched. Per the method, a strap forms from a plurality of fastener sections having a fastener outer surface and a mounting inner surface and attaching said inner surfaces of fastener sections on said elastic strap. The mounted fastener sections form discrete fastening regions on the surface of the flexible attachment strap.

The encirclement band or bands are removably attached to the cylindrical jack by attaching a handle through the bands to the jack. The bands include apertures for one or more accessories. The apertures are aligned with an extended region of the base such that any accessories inserted in the apertures are supported by the extended region of the base.
