  • Patent number: 12567307
Abstract: In one aspect, a device management platform is provided. The device management platform includes environmental sensors and a host system. The environmental sensors are deployed at different locations within a gaming venue, each including at least one sensor configured to capture environmental data at one of the different locations. The host system is configured to receive, from the environmental sensors, the environmental data, identify spatial data that defines a floor layout of the gaming venue and the different locations of the environmental sensors, correlate the spatial data with the environmental data to generate a spatial map of the environmental data within the gaming venue, and identify a subscriber for the spatial map. The host system is further configured to determine, based on the subscriber, access rules for the spatial map, and provide, based on the access rules, at least a portion of the spatial map to the subscriber.

  • Patent number: 12430986
Abstract: In one aspect, a device management platform is provided. The device management platform includes at least one gaming device coupled to a host system and a plurality of modular devices in wireless communication with the host system and forming a wireless mesh network therebetween. At least one of the plurality of modular devices is coupled to the gaming device and configured to determine, based on information retrieved via the wireless network, a location of the gaming device, and generate a profile based on a device configuration of the gaming device and the location of the gaming device, where the profile defines a role of the gaming device.

  • Publication number: 20240013615
Abstract: In one aspect, a management system configured to monitor locations of a plurality of gaming assets of a gaming venue is provided. The management system includes a host system and a plurality of location controllers. The plurality of location controllers are in wireless communication with the host system and form a wireless network therebetween. At least one location controller of the plurality of location controllers is coupled to a gaming asset of the plurality of assets. The location controller is configured to determine, based on the information retrieved via the wireless network, a location of the location controller, determine whether the location of the location controller has changed, and forward the information retrieved via the wireless network to the host system for updating the location of the gaming asset within the gaming venue in response to determining that the location of the location controller has changed.

  • Publication number: 20230146435
Abstract: In one aspect, a device management platform configured to selectively expose information regarding an operation of a gaming venue that includes a plurality of gaming devices is provided. The device management platform includes a plurality of slot machine interface boards (SMIBs), each disposed within and configured to communicate with one of the plurality of gaming devices. The device management platform further includes a host system communicatively coupled to the plurality of SMIGs and configured to receive gaming device information from the plurality of SMIBs regarding the operation of the plurality of gaming devices, identify a subscriber for the gaming device information, determine, based on the subscriber, read access rules for the gaming device information, and provide, based on the read access rules, at least a portion of the gaming device information to the subscriber.

  • Publication number: 20200164266
Abstract: There is described a method and apparatus for monitoring the play at a gaming table. The disclosed embodiment comprises a dealing shoe adapted to output signals when cards are dealt, and an input device operable by means of sensors and/or by the dealer to output signals indicating the occurrence of events during game play such as the arrival and departure of players from the table, the placing of the first bet for each game, and the resolution of the wagers to end the game. Output signals are received and stored in a memory with an associated timestamp, and analysis of the signals and their respective timestamps enables the apparatus to determine the number of players present for each game, and to calculate the number of games played, and the duration of each game.
