Abstract: A golf mat for displaying advertising includes a first layer having a top surface and a bottom surface; a second layer having a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the first layer is attached to the second layer; a recess extending into the top surface of the first layer; and an advertising element having advertising displayed thereon, wherein the advertising element is situated within the recess. The advertising element may be an electronic device having a display for electronically displaying the advertising thereon. Methods of manufacturing the present invention and displaying advertising utilizing the present invention are also disclosed.
