Abstract: In an information management method according to the present invention, objects connected with classification data are classified into trees so that criteria are defined for different branches of the tree, and objects are classified into the tree branches on the basis of these criteria. The method is primarily characterised in that a classification graph is defined between the objects and the trees, comprising of a network of classification data used to define the dependencies between the classification data. The invention also relates to an information management system and computer program which implement the said method.
