  • Publication number: 20210102868
Abstract: When a gateway, which provides one or more drivetrain domain specific knowledge services and include one or more simulation tools, receives a request relating to a drivetrain, the request containing identification information identifying one or more components of the drivetrain, and possibly one or more operation conditions, the gateway retrieves, based on the identification information, component information on one or more components of the drivetrain, the component information indicating for each component a component type. The gateway also retrieves, based on one or more component types in the component information and received one or more operation conditions, if any received, one or more values. Then the gateway uses at least the retrieved one or more values as input for a simulation; and outputs a simulation result for the drivetrain and/or for one or more of components the drivetrain.

  • Patent number: 9276452
Abstract: A method is disclosed for manufacturing the winding coil of an electrical machine from flat wire. The coil can include coil sides fitted to a groove of an electrical machine and end sections which are left outside the groove and form a coil end. Flat wire can be used for winding a spool in which the coil rounds are in the same winding plane and in which there are two parallel straight coil sides on opposite sides. After this, the parallel straight coil sides can be bent towards each other essentially to the right angle in comparison to the winding plane.

  • Patent number: 8664810
Abstract: An exemplary stator disk of an electric motor stator includes a set of recesses. Each recess being configured to receive a cooling pipe. The stator disk includes one or more positioning elements for aligning the stator disk with another stator disk. The one or more positioning elements being positioned to the stator disk such that when the stator disk is set to a rotated position with respect to the other stator disk in order to align the recesses of the disks for receiving of cooling pipes, the positioning elements of the two disks become only partly aligned with each other.

  • Patent number: 7804209
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for indicating a fault in an electrical machine having a stator and a rotor with an air gap between it and the stator. In order to detect impurities or similar objects entering the air gap, a means of supervision is arranged on the stator surface facing the rotor. The means of supervision is at least partially protruding from the stator surface, and the integrity of the included detection element, such as a copper wire, is established using a supervision circuit connected to the detection element.

  • Publication number: 20100164319
Abstract: The object of the invention is a method for manufacturing a winding coil for an electrical machine, as well as the corresponding winding. The electrical machine comprises a stator sheet pack in which slots are arranged at the edge of the inner circumference of the sheet pack for fitting the winding coils. In the method, a winding coil is made of flat wire so that one coil turn (42, 44) goes around a tooth (2) between adjacent slots. According to the invention, the coil turns (42, 44) are manufactured so that one coil end (46) is bent substantially close to the edge (50) of the sheet pack, and a second coil end (60) is bent at a distance from the edge (50) of the sheet pack. The first and second coil end bent at different positions are fitted to the slot one on top of the other around the tooth (2).
