The method then generates an identifier to be associated with the received transfer request. The digital tag computer then transmits the transfer request to a sender user device associated with the second user, where the transfer request includes the identifier associated with the request. After transmitting the transfer request, the digital tag computer receives a transfer message relating to the transfer request.
