Abstract: An agricultural implement includes a toolbar, a plurality of stationary brackets fixed to the toolbar, a plurality of row units, and a plurality of locking mechanisms. Each stationary bracket has at least one lateral member oriented parallel to the toolbar. Each row unit is coupled to a sliding bracket, and each sliding bracket is carried by and configured to slide along the at least one lateral member of a corresponding stationary bracket. Each locking mechanism is configured to fix a position of a corresponding one of the sliding brackets relative to the corresponding stationary bracket. Methods of adjusting a spacing between row units are also disclosed.

Abstract: A flow splitter includes a body having a generally cylindrical main passage therethrough oriented along a longitudinal axis of the body. The main passage connects an inlet at the upstream end to exactly three split passages adjacent the downstream end, each split passage connected to a corresponding outlet. A first and second of the three split passages are oriented along axes that intersect one another at a first acute angle in a common plane with the longitudinal axis. A third of the three split passages intersects the common plane at a second acute angle. An agricultural implement includes a frame, a toolbar carried by the frame and supporting a plurality of row units, a hopper carried by the frame, a primary flow line connecting the hopper to a flow splitter, and three secondary flow lines connecting the flow splitter to three of the row units.

Each row unit includes a tool support and a rotating support coupled to the tool support and configured to rotate about an axis of rotation. Ground-engaging tools are carried by the rotating support and extending outward from the axis of rotation. Rotation of the rotating support about the axis of rotation moves the ground-engaging tools around the rotating support to change which of the ground-engaging tools interacts with the ground. A method of adjusting the agricultural implement includes disengaging the row units from a ground surface, rotating at least one rotating support about a corresponding axis of rotation to move the ground-engaging tools around the rotating support, and re-engaging the row units with the ground surface.
