  • Publication number: 20170167154
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an automated vehicle parking system (100). The automated vehicle parking system includes at least one parking facility structure (102a, 102b) including a plurality of vehicle storage cells (104a, 104b, 104c, 104d), a vehicle entrance/exit arrangement (200), and a vehicle transporting mechanism (108). The vehicle transporting mechanism is spatially disposed adjacently to the vehicle storage cells for delivering and retrieving one or more vehicles (106) in respect of the vehicle storage cells. The vehicle transporting mechanism is operable to lift up and/or lower down the one or more vehicles, and to move them laterally by way of supporting the one or more vehicles on corresponding one or more platforms (314a, 314b, 314c) which are moveable laterally relative to the vehicle transporting mechanism (108).

  • Publication number: 20140377829
Abstract: A system (100, 200, 300, 400) for producing biogas from waste stream (101) including organic material includes a liquid waste container (102) and a solid waste container (103). In addition, it includes a separator (104) for at least partially separating liquid fraction into the liquid waste container (102) and solid fraction into the solid waste container (103) from the waste stream (101) so that the solid waste container includes more solid content than the liquid waste container. Furthermore, the system includes a communication member (106, 111) between the liquid waste container (102) and a mixer (105, 202) for introducing liquid from the liquid waste container to the waste stream portion containing solid fraction in order to extract more liquid from the solid fraction.

  • Publication number: 20140294543
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an automated vehicle parking system. The automated vehicle parking system includes at least one parking facility structure including a plurality of vehicle storage cells, a vehicle entrance/exit arrangement, and a vehicle transporting mechanism. The vehicle transporting mechanism transports one or more vehicles between the entrance/exit arrangement and the at least one parking facility. The vehicle transporting mechanism is operable to redistribute the one or more vehicles between the storage cells within the at least one parking facility structure so that the one or more vehicles are more rapidly accessible when they are required to be delivered to the entrance/exit arrangement for collection thereat.

  • Publication number: 20100001050
Abstract: This invention relates to a group package (1) for sheet material such as printing and photocopy paper, and a method for manufacturing the protective wrap of the group package and the group package itself. In the group package (1), a number of paper bundles (1a) wrapped in their own ream wraps (2a) consisting of at least a base paper layer (19a), are placed within a shared protective wrap (2). The material of the protective wrap (2) and of the wrap (2a) of the paper bundles (1a) is formed by adding plastic, a polymer mixture or another suitable material to one or both of the materials, in suitable quantities to make the combined water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) of the protective wrap (2) and the wrap (2a) less than approx. 50 g/m2/d, as calculated according to the ISO 2528:1995 standard.

  • Patent number: 5403447
Abstract: System in a press section of a paper machine for monitoring and control of the running of the press felts (10,20,30). The press felts (10,20,30) are guided by means of rolls (13,14,15; 23,24,25; 33,34, 35), whose axial directions are altered by means of an actuator (18a, 18b) so as to control the running of the press felts (10,20,30). The system includes detector devices (16,26,36), by whose means the alignment stripe (K) on the felt or felts (10,20,30) is detected, as well as oscillation detectors (17,27,37), by whose means oscillations of the press rolls (10, 20,30) are detected. Into the computer part (50) included in the system, the monitoring signals (a,b) are fed from said detectors (16,26,36, 17,27,37). The computer (50) analyzes the detector data in order to detect any felt-induced oscillations.

  • Patent number: 5381341
Abstract: A control system regulating the transverse profile of properties of a web in a paper or board machine is disclosed. The control system comprises a plurality of actuators and a corresponding plurality of actuator controllers. The actuators are arranged to be effective across the width of the web whose profile is to be regulated. Further included is a process controller and a feedback network connected to the process controller and provided with an arrangement for measuring the web profile to be regulated. The actuators are provided with intelligent actuator controllers. A data bus common to the actuator controllers is provided, along which occur data communications in a control hierarchy between a higher control device and said actuator controllers.
