Abstract: A mobile work machine, which includes a knuckle boom crane for lifting loads including at least two booms articulated to each other and actuators for moving the booms, a tool fastened to the knuckle boom crane for grabbing a load, a control system for controlling the knuckle boom crane at least partially automatically, the control system including a database including at least one control rule for protecting the knuckle boom crane from overloading, and the control system is programmatically arranged to protect the knuckle boom crane based on the control rule by limiting the operation of the actuators before the actual use of the knuckle boom crane for lifting or handling a load. The disclosure is also related to a method in controlling a mobile work machine.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for felling sawing using a forest machine. In the method, a felling head is used, which set near to the tree to be felled. In addition, sawing is performed on the tree using a saw device fitted to the felling head. Before sawing, the saw device is set to a selected level relative to the ground surface, which is recorded in the data system belonging to the forest machine. The invention also relates to a system for felling sawing using a forest machine.
