Abstract: A method and a telecommunication system for transmitting individually specified customer information necessary for manufacturing footwear, the customer information comprising at least customer ID, ID on the footwear to be manufactured, and feet measurement information. The telecommunication system comprises a foot scanner for defining the measurement information on the customer's feet, a first terminal connected to the foot scanner for receiving the customer identification information and said feet measurement information in the telecommunication system.
