  • Patent number: 10670218
Abstract: An electrical device for a vehicle includes a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion. An upper light source attaches to the upper portion and a light guiding element attaches to the upper portion to receive the upper light from the upper light source and direct outgoing light in a substantially uniform direction. A display attaches to the upper portion to receive the outgoing light for illumination of the display. A lower member couples with the lower portion. A lower light source attaches to the lower member. A collimator attaches to the lower member to receive incoming light from the lower light source and change directions of the incoming light to a collimated beam. A lens element attaches to the lower portion to direct the collimated beam at a target.

  • Patent number: 9709727
Abstract: A light assembly is provided that includes a housing, a light pipe assembly, and a conforming seal. The housing has a cavity extending through the housing between first and second ends of the housing. The housing holds a light source that is configured to emit light within the cavity. The light pipe assembly has an attachment end disposed at the first end of the housing. The light emitted by the light source is received by the light pipe assembly at the attachment end and is transmitted through the light pipe assembly. The conforming seal has a tubular shape that at least partially surrounds the housing and the light pipe assembly. A first segment of the conforming seal extends along the light pipe assembly and conforms to the light pipe assembly. A second segment of the conforming seal extends along the housing and conforms to the housing.

  • Patent number: 7547230
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly is shown which is profiled for mounting to a wall. The assembly is comprised of an insulative housing having an outer profile, at least one abutment portion, such as a flange, having an abutting surface outside of the outer profile, and a retaining surface spaced from the abutting surface. A retaining member is operably engageable with the retaining surface, and the retaining member has an orientation member preventing incorrect orientations between the retaining member and the housing.

  • Patent number: 6881103
Abstract: An electrical connector is provided that includes a connector housing that receives a terminal contact. The housing includes a deflectable bar and a terminal position assurance (TPA) device. The TPA device is loaded on the housing to engage the bar and is moveable between a staged position and a locked position with respect to the bar. The TPA device includes a beam having a latch that causes the bar to deflect in bending and twisting with respect to the TPA device as the TPA device is loaded. The bar includes a slot that receives the latch when the TPA device moves into the locked position.
