    Abstract: A system and method is provided for distributing printer properties to at least one client computer on a computer network. The method includes the step of configuring a printer property profile using an administrator tool. Another step is storing the printer property profile on an electronic storage medium. A further step is applying the stored printer property profile to a printer on the client computer so that the client computer possesses current printer properties as defined by the printer properties profile.
