    Abstract: The invention relates to a process for fabrication of worked products made of an aluminium alloy of the Al—Cu, Al—Cu—Mg or Al—Zn—Cu—Mg type with high toughness and resistance to fatigue, which comprises between 0.005 and 0.1% of barium. Such an alloy has better toughness than a similar product without barium.
