The switching is preferably controlled by a wireless signal but in some embodiments the switching can be controlled by a hard-wired signal or by a switch proximate the illumination source itself.

Abstract: A user device may obtain access control data which is derived based on a test result or score of a test for assessing a risk of a user of having or developing a contagious illness. The access control data may be communicated from the user device to an access control system in response to a reading of the user device by the access control system. The access control system may permit or deny entry of the user into an area based on the access control data. In some aspects, the user device is an identity (ID) or access badge. In other aspects, the user device is a mobile user device having one or more illness risk factor assessment functions, where the test result or score is obtained based on resulting data from executing the one or more illness risk factor assessment functions.

Abstract: One or more servers are provided for processing incoming service messages for customers which are account holders of accounts that are managed at least in part by a service provider. An incoming service message may be received from a user device via a network. The incoming service message may include free-form input data (e.g. free-form text data or free-form audio data). The free-form input data may be processed to determine one or more intent classifiers and/or one or more emotion classifiers using artificial intelligence, e.g. a natural language understanding function. A service department identifier may be selected based on at least the one or more intent classifiers or the one or more emotion classifiers. A message may be sent to a selected service representative identifier associated with the selected service department identifier, where the message includes an identifier for identifying information associated with the incoming service message.

In one illustrative embodiment, a bracket on a side of a motorcycle serves as fulcrum for a lever rod mounted thereon via a heim joint. A lower end of the rod is attached to a clutch control cable. The rod extends upwardly, through a guide member with a guide channel formed as elongated slot extending in a first direction to a bend portion that extends in another direction to a “rest portion.” The rod may be levered in one direction in the guide channel to engage the clutch and in the opposite direction to disengage it. The rod may be held in the “rest” portion of the channel to retain the clutch in a disengaged position. Conversion kits and methods of converting and adapting motorcycles for using these types of assemblies are also included.

In the advanced-capability embodiments the invention combines the functions of a vehicle data bus interface, a digital signal processor, and an amplifier. In the advanced-capability embodiments the invention provides a wireless interface with a separate digital device that can be used to control the inventive amplifier.

Abstract: This disclosure extends to systems, apparatus, and methods related to food serving containers that may be mountable on a drinking straw in a beverage cup in a first conformation. A body portion formed as a cup for receiving food has an elongated tab extending upwards to a distal end. A straw mounting recess passes through the tab near the distal end. The elongated tab may be sized and configured to allow the body to dangle alongside a beverage container when the container is placed over a straw in the beverage container lid. The elongated tab may have predetermined folding lines, and the container body may include a connection feature, such that in a second conformation, the elongated tab may function as a closure for retaining food in the container. The closure may allow for retaining the food with a portion thereof visible.

The system may also include a financial database having financial information associated with the number of organizations. The system may also include a processor that receives image data representative of an object, determine an organization associated with the object based on a comparison of the image data with at least one image of the number of images in the image database and a correlation between the at least one image with the organization, and retrieve financial data regarding the organization from the financial database. The processor may then generate visualizations regarding the financial data and overlay the visualizations on the image data.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for retrofitting existing standard faucets to conserve water as well as decrease the likelihood of spreading viruses and bacteria via contact with the faucet itself. The system includes a foot pedal that the user can activate to control the flow of water. The foot pedal communicates with an electric valve system that opens and closes on demand. The foot pedal and electric valve system can be quickly and easily installed into a standard faucet system, thereby converting the standard faucet system into a hands free faucet system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described that provide for directing a voice or video call using least cost dialing. Rules for directing a call may be generated by a server or a mobile device. The rules may be applied at a mobile device, facilitating a least-cost call with little or no input from the user of the mobile device. The rules may be based on identifying information about a caller or an intended call, or both. In determining what constitutes a least-cost option, a number of resources and factors, both monetary and non-monetary, may be considered. In some examples, a call identifier may be sent from a mobile device to a server, and the mobile device may receive, in response, one or more rules for directing a call. The rules may be applied at the mobile device, and the call may be placed accordingly.
