  • Publication number: 20100266756
Abstract: A line striper 10 is equipped with additional features: including a speed/distance sensor 1 delivering high resolution and recognizing reverse movement. Also included is a built in programmable control 2 for setting parking stall or road line parameters including a measuring system. A device 3 applies paint marks (dots), or equivalent onto a surface. The striper 10 can hold a paint can 5 as a means of marking. An electrical thumb switch 4 is provided at the left handle bar. A speed compensating control provides intelligence to advance and retard the timing of actuation of the dot marking apparatus providing accuracy at any speed or direction.

  • Patent number: 7600019
Abstract: A system and method for aggregating and extending parental controls auditing in an unmanaged computing network are provided. A parental control system, including a parental control database, logging interface, and audit process, resides on each host computing device in an unmanaged computing network that is capable of synchronizing data residing on one of the host computing devices with data residing on the other devices in the network. The parental control system facilitates the logging and reporting of parental control audit information in a manner that allows parents to aggregate the audit information to obtain a comprehensive audit report of their children's use of all computers in the home, and is extensible and customizable by the applications from which the parental control audit information originates.

  • Publication number: 20090177962
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method, system, and media for intelligently presenting representations of files. The method can include determining a set of files for which information about them is to be rendered in a window of a graphical user interface even when not all of the files are the same type, conditioning a format of each representation based on a type of each file, selecting for each representation a set of file properties to be presented (the selection being based on the type of each file), and presenting the set of representations consistent with the formats and with appropriate file properties.
