  • Patent number: 11755788
Abstract: Methods and systems for securing data processing systems are disclosed. A data processing system may be operably connected to other devices via ports. When operably connected, some devices connected via the ports may cause undesired actions to be performed. To limit physical access to the ports, a security apparatus may be used to lock the ports. The security apparatus may transition between states where it may be inserted into openings for the ports and may be locked to the openings for the ports. When so locked, physical access to the ports may be limited.

Abstract: A glass article for a vehicle interior system (10). The glass article includes a glass sheet having first and second major surfaces with a minor surface connecting the first and second major surfaces. The glass sheet has a first side and a second side. A hinge is disposed on the second major surface of the glass sheet. The hinge divides the glass sheet between the first side and the second side. An encapsulating material is molded at least partially around the minor surface and at least partially over the second major surface. The second side of the glass sheet rotates about the hinge from a first configuration to a second configuration. In the first configuration, the first side forms a first angle with the second side, and in the second configuration, the first side forms a second angle, different from the first angle, with the second side.

  • Patent number: 11748117
Abstract: Examples described herein generally relate to a computer device including a memory, and at least one processor configured to partition application files for multiple users of the computer device. The computer device creates a per-user location for a first user when installing an application package to an installation location. The application package includes a plurality of files for an application that are read-only for the first user. The computer device projects, via one or more filter drivers, installed package files from the installation location into the per-user location. The computer device receives a modification to the plurality of files for the application projected into the per-user location. The computer device writes at least one modified file into the per-user location. The computer device loads, during execution of the application by the first user, the at least one modified file from the per-user location for the first user.

  • Publication number: 20230218987
Abstract: A single user input element can be used in four different modes including a first mode in which the user input element mimics a single button by restricting input along multiple axes, a second mode in which the user input element restricts input to a first axis, a third mode in which the user input element restricts input to a second axis, and a fourth mode in which the user has no restrictions to user input. A rotational cam may be used to interact with shuttle pins that control the height of a surface (e.g., an up/down position) of the plurality of fill spacers to change a look and/or feel of the user input element. A rotational structure which has lockout tabs to prevent individual rotational axis from being rotated depending on the configuration of the input device.
