  • Publication number: 20240126560
Abstract: An Ethernet switch and a switch microcontroller or CPU are integrated onto a system-on-a-chip (SoC). The Ethernet switch remains independently operating at full speed even though the remainder of the SoC is being reset or is otherwise nonoperational. The Ethernet switch is on a separated power and clock domain from the remainder of the integrated SoC. A warm reset signal is trapped by control microcontroller (MCU) to allow the switch CPU to isolate the Ethernet switch and save state. When the Ethernet switch is isolated and operating independently, the warm reset request is provided to the other entities on the integrated SoC. When warm reset is completed, the state is restored and the various DMA and flow settings redeveloped in the integrated SoC to allow return to normal operating condition.

  • Publication number: 20240104193
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for direct assignment of physical devices to confidential virtual machines (VMs). At a first guest privilege context of a guest partition, a direct assignment of a physical device associated with a host computer system to the guest partition is identified. The guest partition includes the first guest privilege context and a second guest privilege context, which is restricted from accessing memory associated with the first guest privilege context. The guest partition corresponds to a confidential VM, such that a memory region associated with the guest partition is inaccessible to a host operating system. It is determined, based on a policy, that the physical device is allowed to be directly assigned to the guest partition. Communication between the physical device and the second guest privilege context is permitted, such as by exposing the physical device on a virtual bus and/or forwarding an interrupt.

  • Patent number: 11711579
Abstract: Techniques for generating an interactive and dynamically updated content stream are described herein. Data assets that correspond to video segments provided by a plurality of content providers may be maintained. A video segment may correspond to a first portion of a full video segment for a piece of content from the plurality of content providers. A content stream may be generated that includes video segments provided by the plurality of content providers based at least in part on the data assets. The content stream may be presented via an application. Second input may be received via the application during presentation of the content stream that corresponds to a navigation command for displaying different content. The content stream may be updated to at least one of removing certain video segments or adding new video segments to the content stream based at least in part on the second input.

  • Patent number: 10861060
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for dynamically determining personalized promotional offers using markers. In one embodiment, an example method may include determining a first user history associated with a first user account and a second user history associated with a second user account, the first user history and the second user history being indicative of respective interactions by a first user and a second user with a marketplace, receiving an indication of interaction by the first user with a marker associated with a promotional offer campaign, determining, using the first user history, a first promotional offer for the first user, associating the first promotional offer with the first user account, receiving an indication of interaction by the second user with the marker, determining, using the second user history, a second promotional offer for the second user, and associating the second promotional offer with the second user account.

  • Patent number: 10853839
Abstract: Supplemental content is selected or generated based at least in part upon colors of primary content with which the supplemental content is to be displayed. Color data is determined for primary content and that color data is used to select supplemental content that includes complementary or similar colors. Past performance data can be analyzed in order to determine which colors are most effective for a type of opportunity. When an opportunity arises to provide supplemental content, the effective colors can be recommended or, in some cases, automatically applied such that the supplemental content will include colors that improve the overall likelihood of performance of the supplemental content. If a designer is generating supplemental content, a tool can use such performance data to recommend colors based on the type of supplemental content or other such targeting criteria.

  • Patent number: 10607255
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for generating an online advertising campaign based on one or more advertising campaign parameters and selecting an advertisement of the advertising campaign for presentation in an available advertising slot. The advertising campaign parameter(s) may include one or more product identifiers. Advertisements of the advertising campaign may be presented in advertising slots available on network resources such as product detail pages associated with the product identifiers.

  • Patent number: 10448109
Abstract: Various embodiments allow, as an alternative to skippable content, creation and delivery of secondary or supplemental content which renders differently in fast-forward or another adjusted-speed mode and presents a call for interaction. When primary content on a client device is determined fast-forwarded, through indicators such as embedded markers, an overlay, replacing, or otherwise enhancing supplemental content is selected from a plurality of options and displayed on the device such that it provides a perceptible message and an opportunity for interaction through hyperlinks in the supplemental content. Supplemental content may be in the form of an icon or other static images, a banner display, a series of still images from the primary content, a hyperlinked landing page for interaction, animations, a video clip, or text. Assisting in supplemental content selection, metrics including number of views, quartile reporting, or click-through rates are compiled.
