  • Patent number: 11963338
Abstract: A system and a method for cooling a plurality of electronic devices housed in a housing of an electronic module. The system comprises a first cooling circulatory arrangement, configured to circulate a first liquid coolant between a first electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices and a heat exchanger, the first electronic device being thermally coupled to the first liquid coolant such that heat is transferred from the first electronic device to the first liquid coolant. The system further comprises a second cooling circulatory arrangement, configured to circulate a second liquid coolant between a second electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices and the heat exchanger, the second electronic device being thermally coupled to the second liquid coolant such that heat is transferred from the second electronic device to the second liquid coolant.

  • Patent number: 11917796
Abstract: A module is provided for housing electronic devices and a liquid coolant. The module comprises: a housing defining a sealable internal volume for containing the electronic devices and the liquid coolant, the sealable internal volume having a base; a substrate in the sealable internal volume approximately parallel to the base, one of the electronic devices being mounted on a side of the substrate proximal the base; and a heat sink device, comprising a receptacle part defining an internal volume that is arranged to receive the liquid coolant and accumulate the liquid coolant therein. The heat sink is mounted such that the one of the electronic devices or a component that is thermally conductively coupled to the one of the electronic devices is at least partially within the internal volume.

  • Patent number: 11906684
Abstract: A carrier for installing an RFID tag in a utility marker tube provides a centering plate fitting against an upper edge of the tube and oriented and positioned either by inner tube walls and/or the outer tube wall periphery to locate a downwardly extending transducer support tab holding the transducer within the tube. The centering plate may be held in place by a separate or integrated cap retaining the centering plate while sealing the tube against environmental contamination.

  • Patent number: 11734523
Abstract: An RFID tag for marking storm drains incorporates the tag circuitry into a dome decal providing a flexible substrate capped by a self-leveling clear polymer. The RFID tag is placed between the polymer and the substrate on an electromagnetic radiation decoupling layer allowing a low profile fitting within the decal while allowing the decal to be used on metal drain surfaces. The decal includes a printed environment-promoting message relating to connection of the storm.

  • Patent number: 9369497
Abstract: A communications session call is established between first and second call devices. A SIP Reinvite command is sent to the second call device without any SDP media parameters to gain new and current media parameters. The second call device acknowledges the Reinvite command as corresponding to the first SDP offer with new and current media parameters. A third call device is sent a SIP Reinvite command as a second SDP offer using new and current media parameters. The third call device acknowledges the SIP Reinvite command as corresponding to the first SDP answer to the first SDP offer. The second call device acknowledges as a second SDP answer to the second SDP offer. The call with the first call device is terminated to change the destination of the call and maintaining any media stream between the second and third call devices.

  • Patent number: 8898317
Abstract: A communications system and associated method distributes media in a communications network. A Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) communication session call is established between a caller and a communications server. A message is transmitted from the communications server to the media server that includes Session Description Protocol (SDP) parameters for media provided by the media server. Media is delivered to the caller in a packet format in accordance with the Real Time Transport Protocol (RTP) to reuse the same socket as the source IP and port numbers and update RTP timestamps and sequence numbers. The media is transferred to the caller with minimal jitter buffer flushes and network resource usage.

  • Patent number: 8437457
Abstract: A system and method routes a call within a communications network. A call routing device is interconnected to a plurality of trunks forming trunk groups and receives a call. A database stores a dialing plan having data related to restrictions as to which outbound trunk from the call routing device can be used based on an originating account as either a station or trunk of a caller or the number of a caller. A call router processor determines an outbound trunk from the call routing device to which a call from a caller is routed at the call routing device if the configured dial plan permits the originating account or number of the caller to access the selected outbound trunk. A call router routes the call from the caller onto the selected outbound trunk.

  • Patent number: 8345669
Abstract: In accordance with a non-limiting example, the system and method places a call from a first call device used by a party A to a second call device such as used by a party B by routing the call from the first call device into a communications server that establishes an internet protocol (IP) call between the communications server and the second call device. A third call device such as used by a party C monitors the second call device. A first SIP invite command is sent from the third call device to the communications server as a pick-up call instruction for the call to the second call device when it has not answered the call from the first call device. A second SIP invite command is sent between the third call device and communications server and the call is transferred from the second call device to the third call device to establish a communications session between first and third call entities.

  • Patent number: 8200754
Abstract: In one non-limiting example, the system and method for communicating establishes a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) communication session call between a caller and a communications server. The call from the caller is queued at the communications server. A first SIP Invite command is sent between a call agent station and the communications server to dequeue the call. A second SIP Invite command is sent between the call agent station and the communications server. The call is transferred to the call agent station to establish a communications session between the caller and the call agent station.
