The server arrangement is configured to: obtain location information and associated permissions pertaining to an electronic device, the location information being encrypted by the electronic device; determine access rights for the electronic device based on the permissions provided by the electronic device; receive a request from an entity to access the location information; determine whether the entity is authorized to access the location information; decrypt the location information of the electronic device if the entity is authorized to access the location information; and provide the decrypted location information to the entity.
