Abstract: An integrated transportation management method, system, and apparatus for use between one or more shippers and a plurality of carriers is disclosed. The method includes receiving load information corresponding to a load from a shipper through an electronic interface, tendering the load to one or more carriers over a global information network based on automated business rules, assigning the tendered load to one of the one or more carriers, notifying the shipper of the assigned carrier for the tendered load through the electronic interface, receiving an electronic delivery confirmation signal corresponding to the tendered load, authorizing payment to the carrier responsive to the electronic delivery confirmation signal, and receiving payment information corresponding to the authorized payment.
