    Abstract: An occupancy sensor preferably includes an occupancy sensing element configured to detect moving objects within an area of coverage, and a wireless transceiver configured to facilitate wireless coupling of the occupancy sensor to a remote device to facilitate remote wireless configuration and/or commissioning of the occupancy sensor. The wireless transceiver can be configured to be activated in response to a light sensing element of the occupancy sensor being exposed to one or more flashes of light. The wireless transceiver can be de-activated after configuration.
