Abstract: Various embodiments described herein relate to provisioning edge layer to cloud layer connectivity for asset devices. In an embodiment, an application programming interface (API) payload to facilitate network provisioning related to a set of industrial assets within an industrial network system is received. Additionally, a set of subscription domain features included in the API payload is mapped to a set of application content features associated with a cloud platform and a gateway profile for configuring a connection between the industrial network system and the cloud platform is generated based at least in part on the set of application content features. Execution of the gateway profile via a gateway device implemented as a network node between the industrial network system and the cloud platform can also be caused.

Abstract: A system and method for populating a store product information repository with information-rich content comprises capturing, by a sensor device, image data from a product of interest; executing an image recognition process to extract information-rich content from the captured image data in the form of text or graphics; outputting the extracted relevant content to a generic product description attribute; mapping the generic product description attribute to a product record; and storing the product record including the information-rich content for populating a product information repository.

Abstract: A floor care appliance includes a nozzle assembly having a suction inlet, a canister assembly, a dirt collection vessel carried on the canister assembly, a suction generator carried on the canister assembly and a wand assembly connecting the nozzle assembly with the canister assembly. The wand assembly includes an inlet connected to the nozzle assembly, an outlet connected to the canister assembly and a conduit defining an air path between the inlet and the outlet. A heat sink carried on the wand assembly is provided in communication with the air path in the conduit. An electronic control is connected to the heat sink.

Abstract: A floor care apparatus has a housing with a wall having a contour. A flexible membrane circuit includes an adhesive side that attaches the circuit to the wall to generally follow the contour. A controller connects to the circuit and illuminates a visual indicator as a relative function of the cleanliness or dirtiness of a signal of a dirt sensor connected to the controller. A motor is also controlled by the controller as a relative function of the dirt sensor signal. Further, the flexible membrane circuit includes a side opposite the adhesive side to friction fit the visual indicator against the housing. Preferably, the visual indicator includes a plurality of colors, from light emitting diodes, wherein the side opposite the adhesive side of the circuit connects to the light emitting diodes.
