Abstract: Compositions and methods are provided for converting the predominant circulating classical monocytes to a non-classical and/or intermediate monocyte phenotype through cytokine stimulation via, for example, macrophage colony-stimulating factor. Once cultured into dendritic cells, these non-classical and/or intermediate monocyte derived cells have increased costimulatory molecule expression, which leads to improved immune and clinical responses in cancer patients receiving dendritic cell vaccination and other immunotherapies. In addition, assays and diagnostic and theranostic methods are provided herein that relate to the discoveries that, prior to treatment, intermediate (CD14+CD16+) and non-classical (CD14dimCD16+) monocytes are increased more than two-fold in patients who later had complete responses to dendritic cell therapy or DC vaccination.

Abstract: A system for playing a picture messaging game includes a game sewer, one or more computing devices, a storage medium, and at least one processor for executing instructions to create and run the picture messaging game. The game includes capturing, modifying, and labelling a captured image via user input, and transmitting a game request or picture puzzle with the modified image to a participating user who attempts to solve the game or picture puzzle under timed conditions or other constraints. The system also allows a user to create a picture puzzle for security purposes, and to use the picture puzzle as a key for entry into one or more of the user's devices, accounts, or websites, or as a form of Captcha for differentiating computers from human users attempting to access a website or website content.

Abstract: In one set of embodiments, methods, systems, and apparatus are provided to attach one or more service policies to resources in an enterprise by receiving a first service policy, receiving a first policy attachment that identifies one or more policy attachment attributes of resources in the enterprise, and generate a first global policy attachment that references the first policy attachment and the first service policy. The method can include receiving a request to access a resource including an attribute that matches one of the policy attachment attributes. The method can include determining that the first service policy is an effective policy for the resource based on the matching resource attribute with the policy attachment attribute. The method can include controlling access to the resource responsive to the request using the effective policy.

Abstract: In one set of embodiments, methods, systems, and apparatus are provided to attach one or more quality of service policies to resources in an enterprise system by receiving a first global policy attachment that references an attachment attribute value and a first service policy, receiving a request to access a policy subject associated with a subject attribute value, identifying an effective policy set referenced by the first global policy attachment, the effective policy set including the first service policy if the attachment attribute value equals the subject attribute value, and granting the request to access based upon the at least one effective policy. The at least one effective policy may further include a first service policy referenced by the first global policy attachment if a first policy attachment scope referenced by the first global policy attachment matches or contains a subject scope associated with the policy subject.

This validation process can include grouping the policies that have been associated with the policy subject (via policy attachment metadata) by their corresponding constraint expressions, and determining which groups can potentially overlap (i.e., be simultaneously attached to the policy subject) at runtime. Each set of overlapping groups can then be validated using a predefined set of validation rules to identify potential errors pertaining to the policies in the set.

If the two conflicting policies are determined to be identical, the policy attachment metadata for one of the policies can be considered valid, while the policy attachment metadata for the other, duplicate policy can be ignored. Abstract: A method for producing at least one patient-specific surgical aid includes providing a physical model of a native patient tissue. The physical model has at least one surface of interest. A constraining wall is placed in contact with at least a portion of the physical model. A moldable substance is placed into contact with at least a portion of the surface of interest. An impression of the surface of interest is maintained upon the moldable substance. The moldable substance is solidified into a patient-specific surgical aid. The patient-specific surgical aid is removed from the physical model. A system for producing at least one patient-specific surgical aid is also disclosed.
