    Abstract: A medical disposition system and related method of determining a medical disposition based upon patient queries which will empower the patient to seek healthcare at the proper location and at the proper time, and prevent unnecessary expense and visits to emergency departments. The present invention does not attempt to diagnose a patient's ailment based upon a database of possible results based upon the localization of the ailment. Instead, the present invention seeks to determine the disposition of the patient and instruct the patient on the appropriate measures to address the ailment. The dialogue exchange occurs at a seventh-grade health literacy level. The software application seeks out additional information from the patient's healthcare provider(s), third party resources, and other sources containing relevant data that may affect the patient's disposition. The software application then returns to the patient a response instructing the patient the proper course of management.
