Abstract: Sealing and severing equipment for packaging articles like candy pieces and the like in flexible packaging sheet material. The equipment including a table extending between longitudinal and transverse sealing means where the bottom ends of sheet material draped over articles sequentially delivered to the table inlet are subsequently longitudinally sealed and then transversely sealed and severed at the opposite ends of the wrapped articles. A pair of horizontally spaced confronting conveyors are provided on opposite longitudinal sides of said table and carrying corresponding spaced pairs of confronting fingers to be moved along opposite sides of and along the length of said table.
