  • Publication number: 20210297472
Abstract: Methods and systems are employed for providing vehicle-associated concurrent content presentation over a network for in-vehicle use. The system determines a network of friends are traveling to a destination and provides an opportunity to enjoy listening to the same curated playlist of media content. The content presentation includes generating a playlist based on the user profiles or selection of the users or occupants of a vehicle and presenting the playlist to a number of vehicles occupied by network of friends.

  • Publication number: 20210295387
Abstract: Methods and systems are employed for providing an offer to a vehicle based on the vehicles geographical location and upon the vehicle arriving at the merchant, applying the offer to a transaction. The offer is applied based on data identifying the vehicle transmitted from a first network and the second network. The offer can be based on a geographical location of the vehicle in proximity to a merchant.

  • Publication number: 20210281904
Abstract: Methods and systems are employed for selectively controlling the presentation of broadcast content item in which a unique set of broadcast content items are presented based on the selection of a content type and a selection of a geography for each content type to control the manner in which broadcast content types are recorded and/or presented for the vehicle. In some embodiments, methods and systems are employed for providing relevant information to a vehicle based on receiving multiple broadcast streams, and separating the broadcast content items into segments based on a variety of content types along a predicted path of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10587716
Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing network use for downloading media assets using activity signals for a household or organization. A receiver may monitor an organization for signals indicating activities that are associated with a reduction in use of the network. When such signals are received, a media guidance application may automatically download a media asset during a period of reduced network use.

  • Patent number: 10194204
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling playback of a media asset based on whether events are delayed. This may be accomplished by a media guidance application responding to a suspend playback command by determining whether a user is imminently scheduled to attend an event. If the user is imminently scheduled to attend an event, the media guidance application may query an event database to determine a most current start time of the event and compare the most current start time to a start time from the user's profile associated with the event to determine if the event has been delayed. In response to determining the event is delayed, the media guidance application may continue playback of the media asset notwithstanding the suspend command.

  • Publication number: 20170352208
Abstract: An article delivery assembly for unattended, trackable and secure delivery of articles includes a box that defines an internal space. A door is hingedly coupled to the box and is positioned to cover an open face of the box. A locking mechanism, a power module, a microprocessor and a reader are coupled to a back of the door. A keypad and a first antenna are coupled to a front of the door. The locking mechanism is selectively couplable to the box. The microprocessor is operationally coupled to the power module. The reader and the keypad are operationally coupled to the microprocessor. The first antenna is operationally coupled to the reader. A fastener, coupled to the box, is configured to attach the box to a substrate. Each of a plurality of tags, readable by the reader, is configured to couple to an article to be positioned in the internal space.
