  • Publication number: 20170262549
Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to techniques for performing an operation on a resource, based on a state of the resource, by invoking a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request on a universal resource locator (URL) indicating the operation. An interface component can receive a request including an HTTP method and a URL including a first portion indicating a resource and a second portion indicating an operation. Further, an invocation component, in response to the operation being associated with the resource, can invoke the operation on the resource utilizing the HTTP method based on a state of the resource. Other embodiments relate to conditionally returning the operation within a return payload, for example, alone or within a feed, based on an applicability of the operation according to a state of an associated resource.

  • Patent number: 9746932
Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to annotating data based on gestures. Gestures include user interaction with a client device or client software. Gestures are tracked and associated with data. In an aspect, client context associated with a gesture is also tracked. The gestures are then employed to determine a global term to associate with the data. In an aspect, a look-up table comprising a pre-defined relationship between gestures and a global term can be employed. In another aspect, an inference component employ context information in conjunction with the tracked gestures to determine a global term to assign to data. After a global term is determined for data based on a gesture, an annotation file for the data can be created associating the data with the global term.

  • Patent number: 9681304
Abstract: The present invention provides a network and data security testing app for mobile devices such as an Apple iPad, which is connected to the Internet via a wireless network. The app downloads and stores one or more network security or data loss test cases from a centralized server, which are then executed on the mobile device. For example, a test case attempts to access predetermined web pages through the wireless network and then determines whether access was granted. In another example, a test case attempts to transmit sensitive data through the network. Results of the test case are displayed on the mobile device and uploaded to the centralized server. The network and data security testing app also identifies whether access was granted to web pages hosting botnets, malicious web exploits, malicious web obfuscation, malicious iframe redirection, and malware files.

  • Patent number: 9650093
Abstract: A saddle on which an individual is seated while riding a bicycle or a motorcycle. The saddle includes a flexible base to support the rider's weight and a stationary nose cap attached to the flexible base. One end of a bumper retaining block is pivotally and detachably connected to the nose cap. A resilient bumper is located between the flexible base and the bumper retaining block. A pair of rails which runs along the bottom of the flexible base is attached to the bicycle/motorcycle. The pair of rails is coupled to the bumper retaining block to push the block towards the flexible base with the resilient bumper sandwiched therebetween. The bumper retaining block can be detached from the stationary nose cap so that the resilient bumper can be replaced by a bumper having a different density to selectively control the flexibility of the base.

  • Patent number: 9652506
Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to techniques for providing data experience(s) via disparate semantic annotations based on a respective user scenario. An annotation component can synthesize semantic information for respective data types of data set(s), associate the semantic information with the respective data types to obtain respective data annotations, and in response to receiving a query from a client, send at least a portion of the respective data annotations to the client. Further, a data aggregation component can aggregate the respective data annotations and at least a portion of the data set(s). Other embodiments relate to performing, via an application, operations utilizing a data type based on respective semantic annotations associated with the data type. Yet other embodiments relate to receiving external data annotation(s) and associating the external data annotation(s) with portion(s) of the respective data types to derive portion(s) of the respective semantic annotations.

  • Publication number: 20170089503
Abstract: A method includes transporting water containing chlorine dioxide, chlorine, chloramines, or hypochlorites through a pipe. The method includes forming a polyethylene resin using a catalyst, mixing the polyethylene resin with an antioxidant, wherein the antioxidant is a thioester, a hindered amine light stabilizer or 1,3,5-trimethyl-2,4,6-tris (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl) benzene to form a resin/antioxidant mixture, extruding pipe from the resin/antioxidant mixture, and flowing water containing chlorine dioxide, chlorine, chloramines, or hypochlorites through the pipe. An extruded article is adapted for use in containment and/or transport of water that contains chlorine dioxide, chlorine, chloramines, or hypochlorites. The extruded article includes a polyethylene resin and an antioxidant.
