Abstract: A multi-window user interface (UI) is presented in various configurations and operational uses to leverage the relatively large display canvas afforded by large screen display devices such as 4K or 8K displays. Along with the various “Multiview” aspects, content delivery techniques, content selection techniques, and level of service techniques also are presented.

Abstract: Electronic images are programmatically analyzed and metadata associated with the images automatically populated with contextually relevant tags and markers for later referencing the images for curated entertainment. In addition, by constructing the metadata into Ontology Web Language (OWL) classes and hierarchy and storing them in a resource description framework (RDF), Web3.0 semantic search engines can rapidly find and filter such content. The system thus creates a hierarchical relationship between recognized image element tags and thus associate them with OWL classes, formats them into RDF documents if desired and attaches them to the metadata of the file.

The transfer may be to provide both users with access to a downgraded version of the content, or providing the transferee user access to a high resolution version of the content while terminating the first user's access to the content.

Abstract: A bridge including an adapter is able to transcode or translate different graphics languages to permit a variety of networked, dissimilar devices, to communicate. The bridge translates an existing application device's graphics/images into a Remote User Interface (Remote UI or RUI) graphics protocol of a rendering device and transmits the translated RUI to the rendering device. The rendering device is then able to display the translated RUI.

Abstract: A method of and system for transferring a remote user interface from one device to another device is described herein. A server stores state information and uses the information to transfer the RUI and/or other data from one device to the other device. This enables a user to transition from one device to another device seamlessly and without interruption of their user interface and/or programming.

The audio indication is analyzed to determine the recipient and searching an electronic database for an account of the recipient. Information is retrieved from the electronic account. The retrieved information indicates at one or more modes of message delivery to the recipient. An audio guide for the user based is constructed upon the retrieved information. The audio guide includes one or more audio prompts that are entirely customizable and not based upon a predetermined pattern. The user is sequentially prompted with the audio prompts to select at least one of the modes of message delivery. The message is constructed and sent to the recipient according to the selected mode of message delivery.

Abstract: A customized RUI based on user preferences is able to make the RUI experience for the user more enjoyable, as well as provide a safe viewing environment for families. The customized RUI is implemented when a user is detected. The customized RUI is presented on a rendering device so that each user experiences a customized version of entertainment.
