  • Patent number: 9023511
Abstract: System, methods, and apparatuses for removably attaching a battery to a user device are provided herein. In certain embodiments, a system may include an adhesive layer formed on an inner portion of the user device. The system may also include a battery retention label. The battery retention label may include a body portion configured to be adhered to the inner portion of the user device by the adhesive layer. The body portion may be configured to receive the battery thereon. The battery retention label may also include one or more tabs extending from the body portion. Each of the one or more tabs may include a battery adhesive layer formed on one side thereof. Moreover, each of the one or more tabs may be folded over the battery so that the battery adhesive layer adheres to the battery and retains the battery within the battery retention label.

  • Patent number: 8727805
Abstract: A mobile computing device is presented. The mobile computing device has two housing segments that each contains a set of electrical components. The housing segments are slideably coupled to each other to move between a first position and a second position. The mobile computing device also has a cable connector that connects the sets of electrical components together. The cable connector is configured to include three connector structures that are each configured to mate with a connector. A first connector structure is configured to mate with a first connector of the first housing segment in connecting to the first set of electrical components. Similarly, a second connector structure is configured to mate with a first connector of the second housing segment in connecting to a first portion of the second set of electrical components.
