  • Publication number: 20120202375
Abstract: A mobile computing device is disclosed. The mobile computing device comprises two housing segments that each contains a set of electrical components. The housing segments are slideably coupled to each other to move between a first position and a second position. The mobile computing device also comprises a cable connector that connects the sets of electrical components together. The cable connector is configured to include three connector structures that are each configured to mate with a connector. A first connector structure is configured to mate with a first connector of the first housing segment in connecting to the first set of electrical components. Similarly, a second connector structure is configured to mate with a first connector of the second housing segment in connecting to a first portion of the second set of electrical components.

  • Patent number: 7933101
Abstract: A typical power plant has a plurality of generators; at least one load; at least one bus interconnecting the generators and the at least one load. The plant is operated on an uncorrected droop configuration for speed control and voltage control. The plant further includes a monitoring module for monitoring at least one of a plurality of signals; a calculating module for calculating a fault based on a comparison of predefined values expected from normal droop operation with respect to monitored values obtained from the monitored signals; and a control module for providing an order to bring additional generating capacity on line, for tripping a generator if a fault has been identified with respect to a single generator or for tripping a tie breaker to provide bus to bus isolation if an identified fault cannot be isolated to a single generator.

  • Patent number: 6957522
Abstract: An inventive method, system and apparatus are provided for syringe handling, and more particularly, for syringe labeling, filling and capping operations. To facilitate syringe handling, an inventive apparatus includes a plurality of syringe bodies interconnected in a predetermined orientation by a belt. Such belt may be of pliable construction and may define a predetermined spacing in between adjacent ones of the syringe bodies, such predetermined spacing corresponding with a distance between holders provided in a handling apparatus. The syringe handling apparatus may provide for the placement of contents-related information on belt segments between adjacent syringe bodies and for separating the belt segments, wherein a flap is left interconnected to each syringe body. The syringe handling apparatus may alternatively or also provide for automated filling of the syringe bodies wherein cap removal, filling and cap replacement operations are completed free from manual handling.
