  • Publication number: 20130059702
Abstract: The present invention provides in some embodiments, a device for stretching muscles having a series of loops. The device can be formed from strips of elastic material periodically joined in order to form loops. More particularly, a top portion of elastic material can be laid on top of a bottom portion of elastic material. The top and bottom portions of materials can be joined in a variety of ways. A user of the device can engage different body parts with the loops and use the device to facilitate a dynamic stretch of a muscle. Dynamic stretching involves active contraction of the muscle prior to the stretch.

  • Publication number: 20080295341
Abstract: A hand-operated cutting tool includes a first and second handles, with first ends of the handles pivotally coupled together to form a first pivot point. The tool also includes first and second elongated members each having a first end and a second end and an intermediate region therebetween, the second ends having a cutting jaw. A second pivot point couples the intermediate regions of the elongated members to one another. A third pivot point couples the first end of the first elongated member to the first handle. A fourth pivot point couples the first end of the second elongated member to the second handle, so that the handles and the elongated members and the pivot points cooperate as a four-bar linkage for movement of the cutting jaws between an open position and a closed position.
