  • Publication number: 20250090903
Abstract: A ranging beacon system to measure the performance of a running athlete can include a ranging base and a wearable device. The ranging base can be placed along an exercise path with line of sight to an athlete and can include a ranging base ultra-wideband (UWB) transceiver. The ranging base UWB transceiver can receive a first UWB signal and transmit a second UWB signal. The wearable device can be worn by the athlete and the wearable device can include a wearable device UWB transceiver, and a processor. The wearable device UWB transceiver can transmit the first UWB signal and receive the second UWB signal. The processor can generate ranging data of the athlete based on the first and the second UWB signals.

  • Patent number: 11608152
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed to enable a system for controlling the propulsion and steering of a boat by a boat operator. The boat has at least one propulsion and steering motor assembly connected to the boat with a propeller, and a propulsion motor. It also has left and right pivoting pedals to provide a signal that controls the angle of the propeller so that if the left pedal is pivoted in a first pivot direction by a first percentage and the right pedal is pivoted in a second pivot direction by a second percentage, the boat executes a turn, moves forward, or moves in reverse.

  • Publication number: 20200348111
Abstract: A shot tracking and feedback system is disclosed that uses a motion sensor incorporated within a housing worn on a wrist of a user to determine and provide performance feedback based on a determined movement before the shot was fired and the determined accuracy of the shot striking a moving target, such as a clay target. The performance feedback and additional information may be provided on a display. A user may utilize the presented performance feedback to improve shooting accuracy.

  • Patent number: 10746512
Abstract: A shot tracking and feedback system is disclosed that uses a camera to track a shot fired from a weapon and a moving target, such as a clay target. Radar may be used in conjunction with the camera to track the shot and the moving target. Tracking the moving target and the shot allows for determination of the paths of the shot and the target to determine and provide performance feedback, such as whether the shot was above or below the target and/or to the left or right of the target. The performance feedback and additional information may be provided on a display of the system or a user device having a display (e.g., watch, smartphone, etc.). A user may utilize the presented information to improve shooting accuracy.
