Publication number: 20250256688Abstract: A dolly apparatus for use on an assembly line includes a frame and a synchronization device mounted to the frame. The synchronization device includes a body that mounts to the frame and a synchronization leg that is configured to move up and down relative to the body. The synchronization leg includes a foot that is configured to seat against a conveyor with the synchronization leg is a lowered position. A pedal is operatively linked to the synchronization leg such that downward movement of the pedal toward an actuated position moves the synchronization leg from a raised position to the lowered position. A release plate is operatively linked to the pedal such that movement of the release plate from a locked position to a release position causes the pedal to move from the actuated position toward an initial position to raise the synchronization leg toward the raised position.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 9, 2024Publication date: August 14, 2025Applicants: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc., Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Lloyd R. Holland, Scottie L. Foster, Bradley J. Garcia, Michael C. Greenlee, Jeffrey L. James, Jason E. Anderson, Patrick J. Cornish, Christopher M. Peak

Publication number: 20250054669Abstract: A method of picking a predetermined number of fasteners is provided. The method includes placing a fastener handling tool adjacent the predetermined number of fasteners. The fastener handling tool includes a body that includes a holding side, a picking side opposite the holding side, a front wall, a rear wall opposite the front wall and opposite side walls that extend between the holding side and the picking side. The body includes an elongated slot on the picking side that extends between the opposite side walls along a width of the body and an elongated hole on the picking side that is offset from the elongated slot. The elongated slot and the elongated hole extend parallel between the opposite sidewalls providing a gap between the elongated slot and the elongated hole. A magnet is located at the elongated hole. The predetermined number of fasteners are attracted to an edge of the elongated slot using the magnet located at the elongated hole.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 8, 2023Publication date: February 13, 2025Applicants: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc., Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Lloyd R. Publication number: 20180051417Abstract: A method of making paper comprising adding to an aqueous suspension of cellulosic pulp slurry a polymer in the form of an inverse emulsion comprising a cationic poly N,N-(dialkylaminoalkyl) (meth)acrylamide or it's quaternates or salts, and dewatering the cellulose pulp slurry to form a paper or paperboard product, wherein the pulp slurry contains more than about 75 weight ppm of water soluble lignin based upon total pulp slurry weight, and wherein the polymer is added to the pulp slurry at a dosage of 0.001 to 1% by weight based upon cellulose pulp solids, and wherein the polymer optionally contains multi-functional monomer.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 15, 2017Publication date: February 22, 2018Inventors: John C. Harrington, Bryan K. Spraul, Jason E. Anderson

Patent number: 8888535Abstract: A corrosion resistant electrical system for communicating between a power source and multiple electric devices on a truck box or trailer. A hard plastic junction block with a male connector for power input communicates internally with two or more female connectors for power output, allowing multiple electric motors or other devices to receive electricity from a single power cable. The assembly includes cables with female or male connectors at the ends, the connectors having corresponding projecting portions and passageways, and U-shaped flanges and spaces, that fit together. The space between the projecting portions and the passageways are sealed by a resilient gasket around the projecting portion, and the U-shaped flanges and projecting portions contain aligned apertures to receive a lock pin to secure the mated connectors together.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2012Date of Patent: November 18, 2014Assignee: Shur-Co, LLCInventors: Steven James Knight, Jason E. Anderson
