Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments of a wearable computing device which may be embedded in a fob or tag for use in completing financial transactions. In one example, a system comprises a computing device that is configured to retrieve a secure chip identifier (ID) and an alias code from a wearable device using a Bluetooth connection, and the secured chip ID being is retrieved from the secure chip. A selection of a transaction account for linking to the wearable device is identified. The alias code and the transaction account are transmitted to a transaction account issuer for linking the alias code to the transaction account a contactless payment feature on the wearable device based at least in part on the selection of the transaction account.
